Equipping Anti-poaching Camps in the Central Indian Landscape

India’s frontline forest staff spend 365 days a year living in remote Anti-poaching Camps from where they patrol the forests under their protection. It is a hard life – these camps are little more than bare huts and officials must rely on unsafe sources of drinking water and live without electricity and other basic amenities.

Bajaj Auto Ltd. is supporting WCT’s ongoing programme to equip Anti-poaching Camps in India’s national parks and sanctuaries. Their funds are being channelled towards parks in the Central Indian Landscape and the Nagzira-Navegaon Tiger Reserve has already benefitted from their generous support.
