NDTV's Save Our Tigers campaign raised almost Rs. 5 crore which is being spent to build Rapid Response Units - specially equipped vehicles that are going to be deployed in tiger reserves across the country. Pench: Save our Tigers boosts conservation
As part of the Save our Tigers campaign, the Pench national park is provided with specialised Rapid Response Units to help in saving the big cats. Kanha: Rapid Response kits for saving tigers
The NDTV-Aircel Save Our Tigers campaign has provided 31 rapid response units for tiger parks across the country. The vehicles are loaded with equipment for forest guards so they can protect the reserves better. The first unit was given to the Kanha tiger reserve.
