India’s forests are among the most biodiverse, harbouring one of the richest assemblages of life forms on earth. WCT uses the most charismatic mammal, the tiger, as the ambassador for the conservation of these forests.

Through this ongoing public-engagement campaign, our endeavour is to spread awareness about the natural history of the tiger, the threats to its survival, and the solutions to ensure that the tiger survives into the next century. Our aim is to engage people in celebrating the tiger and all the other life forms that share its habitat, to the extent that, when the time comes, they stand up to protect it.
